Thursday Afternoon Sport and Activities

The Thursday afternoon sport and activities program is an integral part of each student’s overall education. It allows an opportunity for students to experience a range of competitive and non-competitive recreational activities and is held in place of periods 4 and 5*. All students are expected to attend. It is normal school time and therefore usual attendance requirements exist. Doctors’ appointments and other personal business should not be arranged for Thursday afternoons.

Those students who have a special ability in a given sporting field are expected to be available to represent the college at all times.

Sports and activities offered in the program include –

  • Volleyball
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Hockey
  • Cricket
  • Boxing
  • Indoor Soccer
  • Self-Defence
  • Squash
  • Tennis

* Representative teams may return later, depending on where they play. Times and venues will be published fortnightly in the college newsletter.
