Staff are encouraged to nurture their own faith and understanding through opportunities such as further study in Religious Education and Theology, prayer and reflection, retreats and pilgrimages and other faith formation activities.
The college has a staff spirituality program that operates on a three year cycle. The program is called HEAD-HEART-HANDS. The first phase involves formation in the ‘Catholic Faith for Educators’ including our own Lasallian charism. The second phase enables the staff to reflect on their roles as Lasallian educators. The third phase involves our staff engaging in practical outreach opportunities including work for our own Lasallian communities both in Sydney and in our district of Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Pakistan. These activities are important for our staff to develop a sense of mission and to reflect on their role as teachers in a Lasallian context.
