We value the voice of our students as active stakeholders in the growth of our community. We actively encourage students to develop their potential and talents through their active engagement with their learning and the range of opportunities provided by the college.

Student leadership plays an integral role in the life of the college in providing aspiring leaders to contribute in a meaningful way to the development of our community.

We have a formal student leadership structure consisting of a college captain, vice captains, Student Representative Council (SRC), house captains and Lasallian youth leaders and these form the student leadership team within the college. The student leadership team is elected by their peers as well as staff. Training sessions and workshops are provided to support these students to undertake their responsibilities as leaders.

De La Salle College Ashfield Student Voice

Each homeroom elects its own representative to the SRC. These students assist their homeroom teacher, represent their homeroom at SRC meetings and help take responsibility for organising events within the college.

Our leaders play an important role in the academic, sporting, cultural, spiritual and social justice opportunities that enable our young men to find their passion and become the best men they can be.
